·        India has become Israel's second largest export destination after the United States, as the Jewish state focusses on tapping potential in the Asian markets.
·        Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office Prithviraj Chavan has been named the next Maharashtra Chief Minister. Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) leader Ajit Pawar, nephew of party chief Sharad Pawar and a minister named Maharashtra's next deputy chief minister after Chhagan Bhujbal.

The Tianhe-1A, which means meaning Milky Way is capable of 2.67 quadrillions of computing operations per second, earning it the number one spot in the Top 500 list of the world's most powerful supercomputers.
·        Free trade agreement (FTA) between India and Canada will help push bilateral trade to USD 15 billion in 5 years. Bilateral trade was close to USD 4.2 billion last year.

Nobel Prize Winners 2010

Every year since 1901 the Nobel Prize has been awarded for achievements in physics, chemistry, physiology or medicine, literature and for peace. The Nobel Prize in Economics was first awarded in the year 1969. The Nobel Prize is an international award administered by the Nobel Foundation in Stockholm, Sweden. Each recipient, or laureate, is presented with a gold medal, a diploma, and a sum of money which depends on the Nobel Foundation's income that year.
